In a nutshell	Christopher was introduced to Indian spirituality at an early age and received Shaktipat initiation from Gurumayi Chidvilasananda at the age of 16. He spent much time in the Siddha Yoga ashrams in Ganeshpuri and South Fallsburg. He has also studies with other lineages. Christopher is one of an emerging group of scholar-yogis who are practitioners of the traditions they study. He received his PhD in the traditions of Shaiva Tantra from Berkeley. He teaches meditation and philosophy as the founder and head faculty of The Mattamayura Institute.
