||Born 1882 in South Karnataka Zilla. Married at 12 and widowed at a young age. Became a monk and priest of the Gowda Saraswati Brahmins. Met Nityananda in 1920 in Mangalore. He instructed her in raja yoga sadhana. Compiled the Chidakash Gita by recording Nityananda’s spontaneous talks to devotees. Established Anand Ashram in Managoda, Mangalore.
